Melinda comes to Ruth’s Promise with extensive professional and personal life experiences. Her main career focus has been in Health Care administration. In the last four years, she has been in the management of Assisted Living facilities serving as an Activities Director. Her supervisory skills come from running the front of a multi-physician office. She feels that Ruth’s Promise is her personal call to service, as she has been a caregiver for over five years. Her walk in faith guides her in providing the best possible care for our seniors.

Terri Ziegler has over 30 years experience in nursing with practice in hospital, community, nursing home and university teaching settings. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Truman State University and a Masters Degree in Gerontological Nursing from University of Cincinnati.   Adult Day Programs have always been a passion and interest for Terri, so that when Prince of Peace Lutheran Church wanted to start a program, Terri jumped at the opportunity to develop the program. She took the lead towards getting licensed with the State and all other local agencies with successful results. Terri has experience working with older adults and those with dementia both as a nursing assistant, nurse, educator, family member and friend. She has been a family caregiver for a relative with dementia and is part of a family network supporting another family member and caregiver living with dementia

Before starting with Ruth’s Promise Miki spent several years as a caregiver for dementia, allzheimer’s, traumatic brain injury and Stroke Clients.  She also was a resident care coordinator and activities director director to ensure quality care for the independent living residents.  She designs a program to meet the needs of all different personality and levels of disease. She has learned an incredible amount from wonderful people and their families. She designs a program through social, spiritual ,mental, physical and artistic domains. Miki Has certification training in dementia, traumatic brain injury, rehabilitation and continuously studies and attends seminars. She is CPR and first AID certified. In addition to work Miki’s passions include the great outdoors, her wonderful grandchildren and her family.
