Ruth's Promise Adult Day Care

Ruth’s Promise Adult Day Care

Ruth's Promise Participants

Ruth’s Promise offers activities and fellowship for older adults and respite for caregivers.

Ruth’s Promise is a five day a week program designed to give a much needed break for caregivers but is also structured to include many services for older adults that would be found at a day care or senior center.  Ruth’s Promise provides a safe, inviting, therapeutic and enjoyable community, environment and program for adults who cannot stay at home alone.

While the program is designed to sustain and maximize function and cognition in the older adult, as well as provide enjoyable activities in a community setting, the program also gives much needed and deserved support to caregivers and allows them time to complete tasks or relax without the demands of caregiving.

What Do Families Say About Ruth’s Promise?

“Thank you for your attentiveness to my wife, Marylou. She doesn’t really look forward to many things, but she gets excited to come to Ruth’s Promise. I have noticed a change in her confidence level. She has become more conversational and likes to tell me the things she does when she is there. She feels more confident and I can tell the difference from when she started attending there.”

“Ruth’s Promise, welcomed my wife with open arms. They have been a Godsend for us. They are affordable and the people are wonderful. God smiled on us when he sent us to Prince of Peace.”

When Ruth’s husband dies, her mother-in-law Naomi encourages Ruth to leave her.  Ruth promises to stay with Naomi. The story of Ruth and her promise to her mother-in law Naomi highlights caring, loyalty, faith, devotion and the resulting shared respect and understanding (Ruth 1:16)

Through Ruth’s Promise Adult Day Program, we are committed to continuing that promise.
