Volunteer with Ruth’s Promise

WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!

Ruth’s Promise Adult Day Program exists thanks to hours of volunteer support. Our volunteers provide the personal connection and caring support that enriches the lives of our participants and allows us to provide exiting programs and robust services.

Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm these wonderful volunteers wear welcoming smiles and different “hats” depending on their skills and preferences.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Assist with arts, activities & crafts
  • Assist with exercise & movement
  • Read stories or interesting articles
  • Play BINGO & other games
  • Put together puzzles
  • Socialize and interact with participants
  • Serve snacks and/or lunch
  • Set up and/or clean up the community area

Feel free to volunteer:

  • one hour or two – or all day
  • one day a week or month – or every day
  • regularly or when you have time

We provide:

  • training in senior care
  • support and supervision
  • background checks
  • a Ruth’s Promise shirt

Please contact Angie, our Director of Participant Care, to set up a tour and tryout.

Download and complete the Emergency Release and Volunteer forms to bring with you.

We also appreciate donations

If you don’t have enough time to volunteer, perhaps you can support our variety of activities and important mission through a donation to Ruth’s Promise.

Ruth’s Promise is a non-profit program supported by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, grants, private donations and fees.

Donations of any amount will help Ruth’s Promise provide this essential service to seniors and caregivers in our community. Donations are tax deductible and may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, designated for Ruth’s Promise. Please contact us at 727.265.2609 or through this form with any questions.
