Art for Faith’s Sake

Through our ministry of music at Prince of Peace Church, we joyfully approach our annual season of the arts! Exciting and interesting musical and cultural events are offered as an outreach to our community. As we look to a new and festive season, save the date for what’s to come, as we start our new season this November! The series is made possible by Friends of the Arts. Interested in gifts of support? The Singing Tree has performed together since 2006, having met initially at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. With Ray’s extensive knowledge and love of folk music and Lloyd’s classical music training and orchestral experience, the Singing Tree brings two powerful music traditions together into something unique and powerful. They will be featured here at Prince of Peace IN CONCERT on Sunday, March 19th at 3:00pm.

The only organist ever to have won a Grammy Award, Paul Jacobs combines a probing intellect and extraordinary technical skills with an unusually large repertoire, both old and new. Paul will play the 1946 Austin, Op. 2089, 51-pipe organ – projected on a large screen.
