Prince of Peace Preschool is a ministry of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

At Prince of Peace Preschool, we strive to ensure an accepting, safe, secure, developmentally appropriate, Christian environment where children are free to learn and grow. Through an array of structured educational experiences, children are able to explore in a well-planned environment that enhances and activates the learning process. We make learning fun!

Our Philosophy

Prince of Peace Preschool welcomes children of all races, socio-economic backgrounds and religious preferences. We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s learning experiences at Prince of Peace Preschool. We respect that you are your child’s first teacher. We would like to partner with you to make the learning experience at Prince of Peace Preschool even better. You are always welcome to visit, volunteer or assist teachers with school projects from home.

Children enrolled in the VPK program pay no tuition but must turn 4 prior to September 1st and be entering kindergarten the school year after they turn 5.

Your Child’s Experience

With an experienced staff, you can rest assured that your child – and their early education – is in the right hands. We foster learning in a loving, Christian environment and offer low student-teacher ratios so that children obtain the attention and structure necessary to thrive well-beyond their preschool years. Through individualized learning activities, outdoor learning experiences, and weekly Chapel programs, we’ll create an environment that encourages exploration and education as children grow.

    Preschool Director

Diana Schultz, Preschool Director – Diana@poplargo.org

Diana Schultz is our Prince of Peace Preschool Director. She is a fourth generation Floridian, having grown up here in the Seminole/Largo area. She began her career in the early childhood education field as a two-year-old teacher and moved up to teach VPK. She then became an assistant director and learned everything she could in that position for the last few years! On top of being a full-time Director, wife, and mom of 4, she is also a full-time student at St. Petersburg College. Ms. Diana finds joy as she encourages the growth of our children in a creative environment while focusing on literacy along the way! She envisions this learning experience taking place on a foundation of faith, as she grew up in a faith-based school as well. Ms. Diana loves not only working with the students in her care but truly enjoys creating a relationship with the families of the children. She strives to make sure children, families, and teaching staff are all working as a cohesive unit to ensure the children at POP Preschool are reaching the goals set out for them!

    VPK Teacher

    Deb Marshall, VPK Teacher

Deb Marshall is one of our VPK teachers here at Prince of Peace Preschool. This year is the start of her 20th year teaching. She first started when her son was in preschool, now both of her children are grown adults. She has her CDA and has been teaching VPK for 6 years. She loves teaching the 4’s and 5’s and getting them prepared for the years of education they have ahead of them!

    VPK Teacher

    Rachael Duncan, VPK Teacher

Rachael is the lead teacher in one of our two VPK classrooms. Rachael was born and raised in Largo and returned to Largo after time away studying psychology and elementary education. Outside of school she enjoys time with her husband and son, teaching swim lessons, and running.

    3 Year Old Teacher

    Crystal Cork, Older 3’s Teacher

Crystal Cork is one of our three year old teachers here at Prince of Peace Preschool. She was born and raised in Florida – a true Floridian! Working with children has been her passion since she was young. She started working with children when she was 14 and hasn’t stopped 15 years later! Throughout the years, she has taught ages 1-5 years and for the last two years has been with our three year old class.

    3 Year Old Teacher

    Stacy Hasse, Younger 3’s Teacher

Stacy Hasse is Prince of Peace Preschool’s young three’s teacher! She is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and she has three, amazing children and six, beautiful grandchildren. She has been teaching for over 20 years! She has been blessed to teach all ages and levels, including children with special needs and school-age children. Although her heart has always loved the two-year-old class, she was given the opportunity to expand her teaching skills when she was offered the young three’s classroom. She always strives to make a difference in the lives of children by providing a safe and encouraging environment. She feels so blessed to also be able to teach about God in our classrooms here at POP Preschool and loves getting to be a part of both the spiritual and educational pieces of her student’s lives!

    2 Year Old Teacher

    Michelle McGinnis, Older 2’s Teacher

Michelle McGinnis has been in the early childhood education field since 2001. Teaching has always been a passion of Michelle’s and she thoroughly enjoys working with the 2-year-old age group. Even though sometimes the 2-year-old class can be extremely challenging, she believes it is incredibly rewarding to help this age group learn about themselves and others. She is ready for a great, new year that will be full of fun and educational experiences for her class of 2’s!

    2 Year Old Teacher

    Priscilla Luster, Younger 2’s Teacher

Priscilla has been in early childhood education for six years, where she has always been in two year old classrooms. She focuses on helping two year olds to learn emotional regulation. SHe is originally from southern Massachussetts and has spent the last five years in Largo raising her two children.

    Assistant Teacher

    Madison Trivette, Assistant Teacher

Madison Trivette is a graduate of Largo High School where she received her CDA. She took on the older 3’s class this summer, and she enjoyed it very much! She has been here with us at POP Preschool for the last two years, but she has been working with children since she was a freshman in high school. You will see Ms. Madison around in the afternoon for the most part, as she continues her college career at St. Pete College!

    Assistant Teacher

    Gloria Quinonez, Assistant Teacher

Gloria was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in New Jersey! She recently moved to Florida with her husband and two sons.
