Art For Faith’s Sake
Dear Friends of Music,
We are excited to present another season of inspiring music in the beautiful sanctuary of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. This series of free, professional quality performances is powered by the generosity of its patrons and sponsors. We continue to strive to fulfill our community-driven mission by again offering opportunities to give back through Concerts for a Cause. Last January, we received over 500 pairs of socks which were given to unhoused residents in the Largo/Clearwater community.
Here at Prince of Peace Lutheran church, we believe that music enriches the lives of all ages spiritually, culturally, and educationally. To borrow a phrase from J.S. Bach’s cousin, Johann Walther, It is our hope that our time together experiencing these concerts “please and delight both the mind and soul.”

December 10, 2023 at 7pm
Lessons & Carols with Santa Lucia Procession
A service for choirs and congregation followed by the telling of the story of Santa Lucia and cookie reception. Festival choir, organ, handbells, and Baroque trio.
January 21, 2024 at 3pm
Astralis Chamber Ensemble
This innovative and dynamic ensemble of flute and strings performs with much acclaim across the globe. With unique instrument pairings, the ensemble expands the repertoire available through yearly commissions and arrangements.
February 17, 2024 at 6pm
Dinner & Hymn Sing
A Spaghetti Dinner is served in the Parish Hall, followed by an Old-Fashioned hymn sing with dueling pianos. Ticket price is $15 for this event and may be picked up in January.
February 18, 2024 at 3pm
Concert for a Cause: Three Organ Spectacular
Featuring Seth Bott, John Lowe, Shawn Thomas. The Festival Choir performs Louis Vierne’s Mass for Choir and Two Organs, along with other music for three organs. Featured organs provided by Central Music (Clearwater, FL). We are collecting new packs of socks for unhoused residents in our community.

Echoing Air
A chamber ensemble dedicated to exploring and presenting music featuring singers with Baroque instruments. Features music for Lent and Holy Week from composers of France and Italy.
