On July 26 from 9:30am to 11:30am, Ruth’s Promise Adult Day will be starting the first of a four-part summer series called Navigating Dementia Care. Replacing our Time for Two dementia support group, the Navigating Dementia Care series highlights the first addition to the Ruth’s Promise Caregiver Library, the bestsellers collection of Teepa Snow of Positive Approach™ to Care. Terri Ziegler, RN, MSN and Cate McCarty, PhD chose this series because Teepa training has impacted their care approach throughout the years. Each session offers a DVD as well as discussion and application. Sessions will be held in the Prince of Peace Community Outreach Center on the fourth Thursdays monthly through October. This program is free due to the generosity of our sponsors.
