Join the High School Youth for our ELCA Good Gifts Fair and browse more than 50 different giving options that support life-changing projects and programs around the world! Give a gift with meaning that makes an impact on this world and brings true joy. These gifts can be purchased in honor of a special person in your life. Come visit the youth to find out more, or just stop by to make a craft!
When you think about the special people in your life and the best gifts you have given or received, it is not the gift itself, but the meaning behind the gift that makes it significant. ELCA Good Gifts helps us to rethink the tradition of gift-giving and get to the heart of why people give. “We love because (God) first loved us.” – I John 4:19
During the Good Gifts Fair, the congregation will have an opportunity to learn about hunger, poverty and alternative giving such as water, chickens, pigs, sheep, bees and education. Your gift reflects God’s love, making a difference in people’s lives and around the world. There will also be crafts and learning opportunities for children and families.
Although PoP’s high school youth will be hosting the fair, this is a significant opportunity for our whole congregation to be involved. To learn more about ELCA Good Gifts, click here. Contact Randy Holm: 727.480.1190 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to get involved.
