“Uninvited” – A Women’s Book Study

Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm (Weekly through July 12th) in the Community Outreach Center

You are invited to Uninvited! Sometimes we feel left out, lonely, and less than. God wants us to “live loved.” In this six-session video Bible study, New York Times Best Selling Author Lysa TerKeurst digs deep into God’s Word. She helps us explore the roots of rejection, and the truth about what it looks like to live loved.

Lysa will take us on a visual journey in the Holy Land to some of the places where people of the Bible such as Hannah, David, and even Jesus lived and walked. Uninvited reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken or taken – a love that does not reject or uninvite. Participants will need to purchase the Uninvited study guide, but do not need to purchase the book. Our guide will have all of the materials we need.

Sessions Include:

  1. Living Loved
  2. Empty or Full?
  3. The Yoke of God is Freedom
  4. Set Apart
  5. Remembering God’s Presence
  6. Lessons from the Olive

April 2016 Basket Weaving

Thursday, April 28th | 6:00pm in Morack/Parish Hall

IMG_20150411_104245882Basket weavers, this month we will weave a handled basket with a combination of reed and seagrass. We’ll incorporate some curls through which we will thread seagrass to form decorative loops. No prior experience is necessary – simply take a list of necessary supplies. The cost of this month’s class is $20, payable upon registration. For more information, contact Meredith via telephone: 727.501.6424.

A “Special Note” from Meredith: At this time, I do not know if there will be any further basket weaving classes. My husband and I have put our home up for sale and will be moving to Citrus County. We regret having to leave PoP and all of the lovely people here, although we do have some friends in that area also. I have enjoyed introducing you to basket weaving and getting to know you better. I think we always have a good time in class. Any additional classes will be announced in the Sunday bulletins. Classes will continue until our home is sold and a moving day is set. Thank you for your interest in the ancient art of basket weaving!
