Being a part of a wave of 2nd career clergy, Pastor Joe worked as an attorney for a construction/engineering firm before entering seminary. “I considered parish ministry as a possibility at different times when I was younger, but I always thought `if that’s what God wants me to do, then God will work that out.’ Well, God did.” With their daughter now away at college, Pr. Joe and his wife, Dianne, are the only caretakers of an energetic yellow lab and a senior “emergency back-up dog”—a corgi mix.
