Recognition of High School Graduates

June 5th immediately following 8:45am Worship (under the Portico)
Come out and join in celebrating the final Stepping Stone for our great students. These students are graduating from high school in the coming weeks. Join them as they worship together and share in a reception following the service.

Christopher M.
Christopher will be graduating from Seminole High School with honors. He is a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society. He was also a four-year member of the basketball team. In the fall, Chris will attend the Florida Institute of Technology on a scholarship to major in Computer Science.

Cooper C.
An upcoming graduate of Seminole High School, Cooper is planning to attend St. Petersburg College in the fall. Currently, he has not yet declared a major and is undecided, so he will begin his college career in general study courses this fall.

Jacob P.
Jacob will be graduating from Osceola High School and will also receive certification for participation in Osceola’s four-year Pre-Engineering Manufacturing Academy. In order to increase his knowledge of the field, he has decided to become a “Wing Man” at The National Aviation Academy located here in the heart of Pinellas County! In July, he will begin a 14-month Aviation Maintenance Technology course to become an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic.

Alyssa S.
Alyssa is a proud graduate of Osceola Fundamental High School. While at Osceola, she completed four years of theatre, participated in numerous shows, and most recently starred as Ariel in OFHS’ production of The Little Mermaid. She also completed four years of technical theatre, which included making and designing costumes and props and where she earned the name “makeup master” who plotted out and applied the makeup for many cast members in each show she has performed in. She plans on continuing in theatre around Pinellas County while acquiring her Associates of Art degree locally. She is then planning on transferring to UCF and majoring in musical theatre. Her ultimate dream is to star on Broadway in NYC, where she will actually be visiting for the second time in a few weeks in order to seek new opportunities and visit her favorite place in the world. She thanks God for giving her this amazing talent and is looking forward to being happy doing what she loves to do: singing and acting for the rest of her life!

David M., Jr.
After graduating from Pinellas Park High School, David plans to enlist the military. He also has St. Petersburg College in mind as an alternative career plan. David’s long-term goal is a career in law enforcement.

Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you. – Philippians 4:9
